The Executive Director of Hope for Family Development Initiatives, Ambassador Aremu Stephen Akinyele, has given a baseline orientation to the newly recruited Community Case managers and staff of the organization in Kwara state.
At the orientation, which was held at the HFDI office in Igosun, Kwara State, the Executive Director of HFDI highlighted the impact of the organization on communities in the state.
The importance of being part of HFDI Nigeria was emphasized, and he charged the Community Case managers to work harder to support the organization to maintain its standard as a leading humanitarian non-governmental organization in Nigeria.
He opined that as Community Case workers and staff of the organization, they have essential duties and responsibilities, and they must understand the nature of their work, which include: enrollment of households according to the target streams into the ICHASSA 2 project within allocated communities, ensuring timely service delivery to all enrolled beneficiaries, among others.
Maintaining prompt submission of all enrollment documents on a timely basis for proper entry into the NOMIS database is very important, Ambassador Aremu pointed out to the Case Managers that they are to work closely with community members to strengthen knowledge and promote awareness on HIV/AIDS prevention through behavioral change.
