Gender equality for sustainable economic growth and political strengthening: Women constitute about half of the population and their participation will enhance a gender balance as well as building vibrant democracies and policies that benefit all. Gender diversity in public institutions is particularly crucial, given that these decision-making bodies create the rules that affect people’s rights, behaviors and life choices. Let's support women inclusion in governance. Life's most persistent and urgent question is "WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR OTHERS?''....your support is of importance. International Women's Day (IWD) 2022 comes up on 8th of March with the theme: Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow. #BreakTheBias

CCCRN Donated Cash Through HFDI to Caregiver of a 14-Year Old Blind Boy in Akwa-Ibom State

We at HFDI, Akwa-Ibom branch, are proud to have recently supported the education of a young, blind child by name, Ubongabasi, a resident of Uyo L.G.A., Anambra State, who had never been to school before due to his disability. With our involvement, we were able to support this child's education so that he may have access to the same opportunities that others take for granted.

The child in question had been struggling with blindness for a long time, and as a result, he had never been able to attend school. However, with our involvement, we were able to facilitate the necessary procedures he needed to begin his education.

Through our Team's effort, this child is now able to receive the education that he has always deserved, as he agreed to enroll in a School for disabled people in Uyo L.G.A, Akwa-Ibom and he is receiving the guidance and support he needs to thrive. We are proud to be a part of this child's journey towards a brighter and more fulfilling future.

His caregiver, Mrs. Mary Micheal Edet heartfully received a cash donation that was sponsored by the Centre for Clinical Care Research of Nigeria (CCCRN) through our organization, pledged to invest the cash gift into palmnut harvesting to produce palm oil, which she can now sell to further support herself and her 14-year-old blind son, CLHIV.

At HFDI, we believe that every child deserves access to education, regardless of any challenges they may face. We are committed to providing financial assistance and resources wherever we can to ensure that all children have access to the education they need to succeed.

We would like to thank those who have supported us in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of children in need. With your help, we can continue to fund such important projects and make a difference in the world.
