Today, May 28th, marks World Menstrual Hygiene Day. On this day, we at Hope for Family Development Initiative (HFDI) recognize the importance of menstrual hygiene management for women and girls around the world. Lack of access to proper menstrual products, information, and facilities can lead to stigma, shame, and even health problems.
As a Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to empowering women and girls, we understand the impact that menstruation can have on their lives. We strive to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene management and provide support to those in need.
On this World Menstrual Hygiene Day, let us work together to break the silence on menstruation and promote access to safe and dignified menstrual hygiene services for all. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of women and girls worldwide.
