In its resolve to provide support to women, vulnerable children, youths, and persons with disabilities, Hope for Family Development Initiative will begin a family-oriented project tagged Ebi-Alayo.
This is as the organization, as part of strategies to start off the OVC preventive program in Kwara State, began a 5 -Days Non-residential Training of Facilitators on Ebi-Alayo, where the programme Curriculum was planned for Community Based Organizations CBOs, Staff and some Case Managers.
The venue as part of Integrated Child Health and Social Services Award (ICHSSA 2) Project held at the State Office of the Ministry of Health Ilorin.
The training was aimed at building the capacities of participants to become effective and efficient facilitators, exposing them to the methods and strategies to build healthy relationships between caregivers and adolescents, and also changing negative norms into positive norms.
The training empowered the participants to be well equipped with the necessary skills needed for implementation in their respective communities.
