We strongly enjoin the public to go and get their first and/or second dose of Covid-19 vaccine. It is safe for every eligible person. Gender equality for sustainable economic growth and political strengthening: Women constitute about half of the population and their participation will enhance a gender balance as well as building vibrant democracies and policies that benefit all. Gender diversity in public institutions is particularly crucial, given that these decision-making bodies create the rules that affect people’s rights, behaviors and life choices. Let's support women inclusion in governance. Life's most persistent and urgent question is "WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR OTHERS?''....your support is of importance. International Women's Day (IWD) 2022 comes up on 8th of March with the theme: Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow. #BreakTheBias

Promoting Child Health: Our Efforts in Osun State's Vitamin A Supplement Program In Commencement of Child Health Week

Our organization (HFDI, Osogbo, Osun State Chapter) is proud to have supported the commencement of Child Health Week in Osun State. During this week, our team monitored the administration of Vitamin A supplements to children between the ages of 6 months and 59 months in Egbedore LGA. This vital supplement helps ensure that young children are getting the nutrients they need to grow and thrive.

Our monitoring efforts took place at multiple locations, including Ansarudeen Nur/Pry School, First Baptist Church Nur/Pry School, and Omoyola Nur/Pry School, all located in Ido Osun, Osogbo, Osun State. Part of our team also covers the program at Teslim Nur/Pry School, Irepodun LGA, Osun State.

By working closely with local health authorities and school officials, we were able to facilitate the safe and effective administration of the Vitamin A supplement.

We believe that our efforts during Child Health Week will have a positive impact on the health and well-being of young children in Egbedore LGA and other parts of Osun State. We commend all participants who helped make this program a success and who work every day to improve the welfare of children in Nigeria.

As an organization, we are dedicated to advancing the health and wellbeing of our communities, and we look forward to continuing our work in this important area.

Through programs like Child Health Week, our organization remains committed to making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of children in Nigeria. We thank all those who contributed to the success of this effort and look forward to continuing our work together in support of child health.
