HFDI establish Youth Development and Educational Programme (YDEP) with the aim of promoting youth development most especially single parents' children and vulnerable group. Hope for Family Development Initiative recognizes that some of the greatest challenges facing young people is how to develop their skills and empower them towards self-reliance. As a result of lack of opportunities and limited choices, young people face various problems leading to low self-esteem and low human capacity development.
In order to tackle these problems, the Youth Development and Educational Programme seeks to attend to the needs of young people and achieves positive outcomes through the promotion of positive sexual behaviour, responsible relationships, development of leadership competencies and improving life options for selfreliance.
